TRANSFORM TODAY
Our Vision: To build high-performing organizations by aligning people, processes, and tools to maximize execution, protect resources, and sustain results.
Welcome to P.O.P.’s – The Price of Purpose Leadership Consulting.
This is where performance meets purpose.
We help organizations build workforce systems and develop leaders by aligning people, processes, and tools to strengthen execution and protect what matters most, time, capital, and mission success.
Today’s workforce challenges are not just hiring problems—they are alignment problems.
Organizations struggle when:
-
The right people are not in the right roles
-
Processes lack structure and consistency
-
Tools are not effectively supporting execution
We solve this by designing workforce pipelines, developing leaders who drive performance, and aligning strategy to execution through a human capital lens.
Whether building your workforce, strengthening leadership, or aligning your organization’s direction, we don’t just create plans—we build systems that perform.
Mission Statement
Our mission is to promote workforce performance, reduce inefficiencies, maximize the alignment of people, processes, and tools, achieve operational excellence, and deliver sustainable workforce solutions for organizations.

Jamie brings more than 25 years of leadership experience across the U.S. Army, corporate operations, state government, municipal leadership, and community service. His background includes serving as an Assistant Vice President at Bank of America, Chief of Motor Carrier Services for the South Carolina DMV, senior U.S. Army Human Resources leader, and City Council Member in Chester, South Carolina.
His leadership philosophy is simple: strong organizations are built when people are developed, processes are clear, and tools support execution.
Bio
Public Leadership & Community Impact

Jamie served on the Chester, South Carolina City Council, where he was a member of the Economic Development Committee and chaired both the Finance Committee and Public Safety Committee. In these roles, he supported pay and benefits restructuring for police officers and city employees, helped identify and secure public safety grants, and supported approval for ShotSpotter and city camera systems to strengthen crime-reduction efforts.
Corporate & Government Leadership Experience

Following his military career, Jamie continued to operate at a senior leadership level across corporate and state government environments, applying his expertise in workforce strategy, operational performance, and organizational design to complex civilian systems.
At Bank of America, Jamie served as an Assistant Vice President, leading initiatives that improved workforce performance, compliance, and customer experience across large-scale operations. He implemented coaching and performance systems that increased compliance from 56% to 96% while improving customer satisfaction and strengthening workforce readiness across multiple sites.
At the South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles, Jamie served as Chief of Motor Carrier Services, where he led statewide operations responsible for regulatory compliance, customer service delivery, and workforce performance. He redesigned onboarding and training systems, reducing processing times from 7 days to 2 days and cutting customer wait times from 30 minutes to under 2 minutes.
In addition to operational improvements, he restructured organizational workflows, strengthened audit and compliance systems, and contributed to generating over $2.25M above projections, while representing the state as Commissioner for the International Registration Plan (IRP) and International Fuel Tax Agreement (IFTA) at the national level.
Across both roles, Jamie consistently applied the same leadership principles developed in the military, aligning people, processes, and tools to deliver measurable results, improve accountability, and build systems that scale.
Military & Veteran Leadership

Jamie is a retired U.S. Army senior leader with over 27 years of service, culminating at the rank of Command Sergeant Major, where he led large-scale human capital operations, leadership development systems, and workforce readiness initiatives across global environments.
Throughout his military career, Jamie served in critical leadership roles supporting organizations ranging from small teams to enterprise-level systems impacting hundreds of thousands of personnel. His experience includes global operations and deployments in support of contingency missions, as well as leading HR systems that governed promotions, assignments, and leadership development across the force.
He served as Commandant of a Leadership Development Academy, where he directed training and development programs for over 2,300 leaders annually, while developing faculty, standardizing curriculum, and ensuring performance outcomes across multiple programs.
Jamie’s military career is marked by sustained excellence and recognition, including multiple awards such as the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star Medals, Meritorious Service Medals, and Army Commendation Medals, reflecting his impact in high-pressure and mission-critical environments.
Jamie continues his commitment to service beyond the military through volunteering as the President of the Sun City AGCRA Chapter in El Paso, Texas. His leadership in this role focuses on developing future leaders, strengthening professional identity within the HR community, and building meaningful connections between military experience and civilian workforce success.
Purpose Beyond the Work
Jamie’s commitment to service is also personal. He is the proud father of Marine veteran Ravein PriceFitzgerald and his daughter, Journey Price. His family, faith, and service background continue to shape his belief that leadership is not just about position—it is about responsibility, example, and purpose.
